What do you think is the biggest mistake that people make when actually mailing their list? Because I know that like me, you mail your mail daily, and in some cases you mail more than once a day. So for those out there who are listening who maybe are thinking about being consistent with their you know, with their mailing, whether they’re trying to go daily, or whether they you know, they do it on a you know, every couple of days kind of basis. What do you think’s the biggest mistake that people make? Is that just mailing their list?

Well, I think the biggest mistake is they don’t, that’s the thing that they don’t email their list. For some reason, a lot of people are afraid to email their list, they’re free to offend or annoy, or get, you know, flagged as spam or get unsubscribes in there. And that mindset comes through. So they spent all this time and even if they don’t spend the money, but they spend the time and the effort of putting that thing together, you know, building that capture page and buying the ClickFunnels account and, you know, creating a lead magnet and whatnot. But they end up not mailing the list, because they’re either afraid, or they don’t know what to mail. And that’s a big mistake. Because like I explained with my, with my first attempt at list building where I, you know, spent a long, long time building it, but it didn’t mail it. And so nobody even remembered my name and I just ended up losing that list. I literally just deleted that getresponse account. I think that’s one of the most common mistakes that I see. It’s probably the biggest one. I mean, there’s plenty of other mistakes. But as far as you know, what’s the biggest one, I think this is the biggest one people are just too, uh, too timid, to even email their list, and I’m not even talking to every day, just, you know, three times a week, there’s still nobody does that? Well, we tend to forget, and it’s really easy to forget, that is if somebody took the time to review your landing page, or whatever the content or thing that got them to the landing page, and they actually decided to give you their email, whether it’s because you locked them out of the lead magnet unless they did or whatever. I mean, they know what they’re signing up for. We tend to forget that they want it. So again, your list is there because they want to be there and not pitching them and not emailing them. Not let’s not even get into pitching but like not emailing them is ignoring the fact that they want to be there and they want to get something they want to, to perhaps just learn more about how you can help them solve their problems.

And I think you know, one thing that is always important to sort of, you know, put out there is that this isn’t hard and fast like absolute, like everybody wants this and everybody wants that. And that’s why people you know, have a choice, right? That’s why people can unsubscribe. That’s why people can make a choice to not be a part of things anymore. So it’s not like you’re forcing anybody to be on your list. It’s not like you know, it’s up to them to decide. Do they feel like they’re continuing to, you know, get value out of that experience, but you won’t No until you actually reach out and talk to them, right?

Yeah, absolutely. And there’s really no way to explain it unless you experience it for yourself and you sort of just suspend for a few minutes, the idea that you are annoying, or you’re a pest, because while I’m sure there’s most people on your list when I’m by the very offer you’re promoting at that time, but what you’ll notice that many of them will mature into doing business with you over time, for example, just the other day, I got an email from a customer who signed up for our traffic services. And we’re not a traffic business, we email twice a day. And she said, and I quote, eager, I’ve been on your email for eight months now. And this last email finally got me now that’s what she said, It finally got me right. So in other words, she has been reading my emails for eight months not buying anything, but I stayed consistent. I kept on, you know, coming from different angles talking about different problems and offering different solutions. And this one particular offer at this point in time, at this price point with these bonuses, it worked. Because of you know, the life situation, market situation, budget situation could be a million things, but if I didn’t stay consistent, I would have never have generated that sale.
