I remember interviewing Russell Brunson. Actually, it was right around the time when he kind of skyrocketed the ClickFunnels growth, and also built three other companies simultaneously. And one of them is about juices or juicing or something. And there’s some other companies. And I said, you know, Russell, I admire you so much. Because when I started, you were already successful. But since I started, I’ve watched you become like, 10 times more successful. And I and I know you work hard. No, you work a lot. But like, how can you do all of this? You built four companies all simultaneously in this common area? Yeah. And I was like, how did you do it? And he’s like, you know, by relying on people who are much smarter than me, that was his answer. And I kind of heard the answer, and kind of like reading about it in the book, right? You kind of hear it or read about it. And you’re like, you nod your head and go and be like, Oh, that makes sense. But you don’t really, truly understand it until later. And so my experience today, when I am relying on lots of people who are quite frankly, much smarter than me. So you know, all these people have their own geniuses, you know, genius qualities, if you will, in the areas of life that they’re most interested in. Now, I understand what he meant. Now I get it. Now, again, how you can build for companies of that size. And what it truly means to rely on other people smarter than you, I get it. Now, there’s the only way to do it, there’s really the only way to succeed big is like that.

Anyone I know who insists on being a lone wolf. And to limit the amount of people that they come in contact with on a daily basis, a weekly basis, and the amount of people that they rely on like, truly rely on to a point where if these people leave today, they will be grabbing their head and pulling their hair out. Anyone who refuses to do that, anyone who refuses to like, accepts that as something they absolutely have to do. They always plateau.

And usually the plateau is roughly between 150 to maybe $300,000 a year. But at that point, even though it sounds like a lot of money. At that point, they’re stressed out, and they’re working around the clock. I remember the time in my life when I was stressed out and working around the clock making a quarter of a million, but I was miserable. These days, I make many multiples of that. And I work only a handful of hours a day. And you can ask my friends, by the way who have observed me, you know, kind of go through the journey on how stressed I used to be back then. And what is my mental condition or physical condition or psychological condition these days? Oftentimes, they kind of asked me like, how do you do it? Like sometimes don’t say it really, but they kind of look at me funny. If you ever, I don’t know if you ever experienced that, when people look at you with a sense of either confusion or a sense of like, inspiration. And you know, because then you notice they try to do things you know, I was having a conversation with a mentor of mine.

And I was expressing to him how difficult it is for me to not be able to explain to people that they can be successful and how many times I’ve engaged with friends, family, acquaintances, people at parties basically trying to explain to them why they can be successful, and how the message would often fall on deaf ears. And they would give me a million reasons why they’re not successful and on and on. 

And I concluded after that conversation that you can really only inspire somebody by example, if you think about it, you can really just show them what they can be by being that and if they’re close to you, they’re like around you in your vicinity and proximity, they look at you and then your transformation, they will feel inspired to go through a transformation themselves, automatically, they won’t even notice it. At first, they’ll be like catching a bug of some kind. And so this is why, over the years, I became a lot more confident and a lot more relaxed about just talking about my successes, because I used to be very uncomfortable doing that. But now I am because if I can do it in a way that doesn’t sound like bragging, which isn’t off itself is a challenging thing to master. I know it will inspire people to go for it, because I know if I could do it, they can do it.
