  • The good news is that everybody is e-farming from the smallest to the biggest marketers.

  • Even if you’re making a million dollars a year, the thing where you have the most money sitting that you’re not collecting is your email list.

  • Because that’s the traffic source that actually makes the money. That’s the media that gets the buyers. That’s the media that actually matters.

[01:52] Size vs. Quality of Email List:

  • I met people with giant lists and the quality of that list didn’t really reflect the income.

  • They had a really, really big list, but they were making relatively low income from that list either because of mismanagement or because the quality of the list was just bad.

  • Having a bunch of email addresses doesn’t guarantee anything.

  • I actually don’t have such a big list, but we’re actually making more money because we know how to monetize it and we know how to segment it.

[03:22] Challenges of having a Big Email List:

  • The bigger your list size technically the more you’re supposed to be making but then you start hitting a different set of challenges.

  • You’re going to be facing blacklisting challenges because your volume is so big.

  • But if you’re able to overcome these problems, of course, you get to benefit from having a much bigger impact.

[03:46] How To Monetize Your EMail List?

  • If you want to make seven figures, aim for a 25-30K list.

  • If you’re an affiliate, you’re trying to find an offer that converts for you. If you’re creating your own offer, you’re trying to craft one that converts for you.

  • Once you’ve nailed the offer down, your focus becomes driving traffic, enabling the list.

  • Your number one priority is to grow your list. Your number two priority is to mail that list, monetize the list, and communicate to the list.
