[00:00] The podcast reveals how to price your products for various markets, and models. Moreover, Igor shares his best strategies to get away with charging more money.

How to price your products effectively?

[01:36] What price points work best with solo ads?

  • I wouldn’t say there’s a one-size-fits-all price. And I actually learned this by doing things like creating all kinds of different offers.

  • It’s not about the price you put it at, but it’s more about the offer positioning and the media through which you sell it.

  • If you’re selling it on a sales page and it’s the first ever encounter that your customer has with you, and there’s no previous relationship, you need to sell a low ticket price.

  • However, if you are getting them on a webinar, then you can sell something for $500.

  • The framework and the environment in which you present the offer will dictate the price.

[03:12] The Concept of Price Elasticity:

  • If I have an info product I’m selling online through a text sales page with no previous relationship to the customer, I’m limited. I probably won’t go over $50 if it’s the very first encounter.

  • But if I’m selling the same product when I’m speaking at a seminar off stage, I’ll sell the same product for $1,000 or $500.

  • The environment in which you’re presented and the offer positioning is different. Therefore, the price elasticity is just way different.

[04:01] Igor’s Book Recommendations:

  • It’s called no B.S. Price strategy by Dan Kennedy.

  • When it comes to selling anything or marketing anything, especially using direct mail or not face-to-face sort of selling, then Kennedy is the man.

  • It teaches you what price truly is. And actually it opens your eyes to the fact that most people don’t buy on price.

  • People who buy on price are probably less than 15% of the world’s population.
