[01:38] Why was the network more important in the beginning?
- Your network is more important at the beginning than it is after you’ve established yourself.
- Once you’ve established yourself, people will kind of seek you out in many ways.
- As a beginner you’re not necessarily running ads right away, if you’re like a service provider, you’re probably looking to get clients without running any ads. Because you don’t really have a margin, you don’t even have a budget.
- As an affiliate, I don’t think a network is what’s important as an affiliate.
[02:43] Networking As An E-Farmer:
- As an e-farmer, I think your network will be really narrow to your particular niche or shaking hands with people who control audiences through big email lists. That might be important if you want to negotiate deals, but I wouldn’t call that a network.
- If you’re an e-farmer who isn’t necessarily building any particular business, building a network will be a lot more important for you than if you were to just promote a supplement offer.
- Initially, the network is not that important, until you grow bigger, and once you’ve made enough money to cover your bills, you start thinking, “Can I build something interesting? Can I build a legacy? Do I want to like or do I have a passion for something?”
- A lot of people start out as e-farmers, promoting other people’s products. They eventually build their own stuff.
