How To Make Your Videos Look More Professional?
[01:58] What camera does Igor use?
- I use Canon 70 D. It’s like a semi-advanced camera and Canon 70 D sets you back about $819.
[02:14] How to choose the best lens?
- All you have to do is get on YouTube and then you get people comparing the lenses. They explain to you why certain lenses are better than others.
- If you order these lenses on Amazon, you can actually order a bunch of them, test the ones, find the ones you like, and then just send the others back for a full refund.
[02:49] Get a lightbox!
- I would recommend you get the lightbox, and what it does, is it gives white light.
- You definitely want to get a lightbox because it creates bright white light for you when you shoot the video.
- Even if you shoot a video in a really tiny room, but you’ve got a good lens and you have a lightbox, you’ll end up with a really high-quality video.
[03:19] What to say in your YouTube videos?
- I would suggest you do it if you cut out the fat, and cut out all the places and spots in your video where you’re not actually talking because that would streamline your video really, really well.
- That would actually give it a much better, more professional look and feel.
[03:58] How to edit your videos?
- You should edit it a bit so it kind of breaks the frame but also refocuses the person’s attention.
- If you’re on Mac, you can use Final Cut Pro or if you’re on Windows, you can probably use something like Sony Vegas.
[04:14] How to upgrade the quality of your videos?
- You can also use Final Cut Pro or any similar software to add lower thirds, which is basically to kind of put up your name and who you are on the video frame.
- When there’s text in the frame, explaining who’s talking gives it a little bit more of a professional look.
- You can speed it up, you can create a very clean-looking interface and add a bit of a design to the template.
- You don’t necessarily have to make it beautiful, but you do want to add some design structure to it.
