Once you’ve created the asset, which is the email, it just makes you money, or works for you for years to come, right? I was interviewing somebody who wanted to hire me as chief marketing officer. And he’s like How long have you been in business? And I was like, Oh, 15 years? 15 years? That’s a lot. And the actual concepts of Liz billing did not change. The mechanics of Liz billing did not change. Yes. They’re like software that updated interfaces, like Clickbank updated the way you sign up, or get responses updated, the way you write the emails, or whatever, right, but nothing else changed. You still drive traffic to your capture page and follow up with that with the people who sign up using email and you still promote affiliate offers. That didn’t change that it still works. So, I wouldn’t be picking this as a strategy to base my livelihood on. If it changed every two years. I think that’s what people don’t understand. And I understand that that many people really kind of think in terms of if it’s the internet, then it works today and doesn’t work tomorrow. But that’s not true. The principles upon which I’ve built my wealth are the same principles as back. I don’t know, 689 10 years ago, the principles didn’t change. Sure. 10 years ago, I didn’t use LeadPages. I built an HTML page myself, fine. But that’s the only change, but it’s the same way is the same thing that you would ask. Okay, so we got the Ford f150 pickup truck. Okay, every year, they develop a new version. How different is the 2023 version, from the 2019 version five years at best? How different is it’s the same damn engine, same wheels, same chassis, same gearbox, same steering wheel, better leather on the seats, the dashboard is now all digital screens while but didn’t change no combustion engine, you put in the gasoline, combine it with air and flame it up with a spark, you’re still pressing on the pedal. If you want to go fast, you are still pressing on the brake. But if you want to stop in the same way, Liz, Billy and email marketing did not change. There’s some tiny little mechanics that changed and we always keep it up to date. But the actual thing, the way it works and how it works and the mechanics and how you make money, then doesn’t change. And I’ve always been fascinated by the people who end up making money long term and become a part of this industry and then get to have a Greek, Greek Leadpages life. Like for example, my friend Ross, from Bulgaria, who has actually now been just traveling all around, you know, like Ken understands that. Yeah. Even if the LeadPages interface changed a little bit. It doesn’t matter because the same capture page he created two years ago is still producing Optus. Right, it’s just normal. It’s okay, fine. Yes. Okay. So, you know, Audi, okay again I bring it to cars because I like cars. Buy Audi, you’ll look at the Audi cars. They don’t change, do they? The only thing that changes without ease is the headlights and the taillights. Everything else remains practically the same. You, So, take an Audi from 2023. And from 2013 They’re practically the same. I got a Porsche Panamera. Right. It’s 2013. So, it’s 10 years old, compared to the Porsche Panamera 2023. How different is it? Not very different. And most people who see me drive my Porsche 2013 villa. Oh, you know, nice car. Yeah. They have no clue. So yeah, even if I created a capture page three years ago, but it’s still working awesome, I got a relationship with the lead bank, where I’m currently getting a couple of 1000 leads a day. I’m using the same capture page I created years ago. Same damn structure, same damn design. Now, I switched to autoresponders. Yeah, I wrote some new emails. Sure. But the beauty of what we do is that you do the work once. And it just works. And this is again, people don’t really understand that they fall in the trap of thinking that it has to be new, sparkling and shiny, when in reality, it should be proven to work. It should be proven by time proven by the amount of money we invested to basically live off of it. Like, honestly, would I as a father, and somebody who supports a big team of people, would I base my livelihood on something that changes every two years? That’s asking for trouble. Instead, I do what’s timeless, which is why I build lists. And the mechanics do not change. Yeah, today, there’s LeadPages. Tomorrow, there’s going to be Kajabi, or click funnels, but essentially, what are these programs doing? They’re all focused on one in the same, putting together a page that collects the emails. And sure, you know, we get a domain on Namecheap, or Google workplace, or Google’s Google suit changes from G suit or suite to Google workplace. Does it really change what it actually does? No, because G Suite, and now no one in the global workplace is there to make you look professional. So, when you apply with an affiliate offer, they actually approve you because you have your own domain. Okay, even if even if you find a tutorial that I created two or three years ago, there’s like a 99% chance that it’s as relevant and as effective today as it ever was, because putting up content that isn’t timeless, it just, you know, just doesn’t make any sense to me.
